Can the ipad be my main computer? on: January 5, 2012, 14:05 I'm thinking of buying a macbook pro for college but the ipad also calls my attention. can the ipad be a main computer or does the ipad need a regular mac? please explain why. thanks in advance apple accessory ipad2case leather ipad 2 cases

Re: Can the ipad be my main computer? on: January 16, 2012, 23:15 Updating to the latest iPad/iphone software means you don't need another computer with iTunes on it to update your iPad/iphone. However, there are disadvantages with just having an iPad compared to a 'regular' mac such as storage and accessibility via a usb stick. I have both and use both, constantly, but I'd give up my iPad before I'd give up my iMac.
