Hi.

I'm new to this so forgive me for any mistakes.

I went to the walk today with my daughter. I was amazed at the support that's out there.

Ran into an ex colleague who also has pd. He's is much worse. He's battled the disease for some 15 years. He can't do much and needs 24 hour care.

I can't help but feel scared for what the future holds. Lots of encouraging words, I scour the websites every day for any new findings but only find sites that try and fleece you out of your money.

Hi,
Are you new to PD? or new to the internet? Either way, you have done some very good moves to help yourself by going to the walk and by joining the site.

I think that we all get scared sometimes of what the future holds, its a pretty normal thing, as we really dont know what is around the corner. But there are many choices you can make as to what you can do with that fear that will turn it to hope and perhaps even a decision to help others who like you, get scared.

We are all in this together. To me, if you don't embrace that unity, and use the support that surrounds you, the fear will slow you down.

Keep in touch, that is what the message board is for.
