Post Symptoms suddenly worse
on: August 15, 2011, 02:43

I was diagnosed 3 years ago and turned 50 this year. In the past 4 months I have found tremors suddenly worse. I changed from Madopar to Stelevo but haven't found much improvement. If it was just tremors it would be ok but when the tablets are wearing off it is difficult to think clearly and focus and I can't sit still. Driving is difficult as my feet cramp up and ache. The cramping wakes me at night .(See time of this message!)Since I work and have kids that need to be picked up and dropped off I have to manage. Would appreciate any suggestions.

I'd strongly suggest seeing your neuro as soon as possible.

Sometimes it can be a little bit scary when all of a sudden an unexpected change occurs without having changed anything your doing....best to speak with your neurologist. There are also lots of good books to read but dont overburden yourself with information, also if in doubt ring Parkinsons Victoria, I have & they were great.
